Food Service Worker and cashier- Urgently Hiring Pay:
$19.64/hr Hours:
Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
We are seeking a Food Service Worker and cashier for a full-time position for our client, a major corporate office facility located in Portsmouth, NH. The Food Service Worker will primarily support the food service operation by handling cash/credit transactions and assisting with food preparation and service. The Food Service Worker ensures a clean, welcoming, and efficient environment for customers and colleagues. This is a day shift opportunity located in Portsmouth, NH.
As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for:
Accurately operate a cash register/POS system to complete customer transactions Set up and serve food from counters and steam tables Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, counters, and equipment Provide prompt and courteous customer service Restock and maintain supplies and product levels throughout the shift Assist with closing duties including cleaning and restocking Support catering and retail operations as needed The ideal candidate for this role will have:
A high school diploma or equivalent Previous food service or cashier experience preferred Basic math and cash handling skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A friendly, team-oriented, and customer-focused personality The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs Slip-resistant shoes (required); black pants and a white polo shirt
