About The Position
Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner, Locums - North Carolina Flexible PRN shifts in a coastal ED with full travel and housing provided; great option for experienced emergency APPs.
Highlights 12-hour shifts; AM and PM available No call and no ICU responsibilities
Practice Setting 15-bed ED within an 81-bed hospital Specialty backup: ortho, cardiology, surgery, telestroke Onsite lab, radiology, and support staff EPIC charting
Schedule PRN coverage; pick your dates November and December shifts available now Multiple start time options (10a-10p or 10p-10a) Grouped shifts possible to reduce travel frequency
Cases and Procedures Emergency care for all ages No ICU-level cases; transfer capability for higher acuity Must be able to respond to codes
Requirements NC-licensed NP (ANP or FNP only) ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA (AHA certifications required)
