Job Summary: Insight is seeking a meticulous and friendly licensed Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to work with staff and physicians to support the delivery of patient care second to none in our Chronic Pain Management department! The Nurse Practitioner / Physicians Assistant will be responsible for caring for patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records, and administering follow-up appointments to patients Benefits for our Full Time Team Members:

Interview and examine patients to determine a diagnosis. Performing physical exams and patient observations. Consulting with healthcare professionals and families. Order tests to ascertain the nature and extent of illnesses and injuries. Administer and analyze diagnostic tests. Diagnosing health issues. Recommending medicine and other treatments. Prescribe medications and suggest lifestyle changes to remedy medical problems. Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms. Maintain patient records and provide documentation for insurance companies. Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones. Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed. Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.

Qualifications:

Master's degree from an accredited nursing or physicians assistant program. Previous experience within Pain, Orthopedics, Neurology, or Neurosurgery field or related work environment is preferred Appropriate healthcare and professional licensure in the state where employed or a compact party state and board-certified APN authorization in the state where employed to practice in family health by the Board of Nurse Examiners. Prescriptive authorization. Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology. A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment while maintaining positive energy. Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for professional advancement. Able to work compassionately with patients and coworkers to exhibit patient care second to none Demonstrates enthusiasm and drive.
