Construction Estimator Job at Talent Edge Recruiting in Chattanooga

Are you an experienced estimator looking to grow into a leadership role? This on-site opportunity places you at the center of high-impact commercial and institutional projects—working closely with design, field, and regulatory teams to deliver quality estimates.

This is a full-time, on-site position with exposure to both large-scale renovations and new construction. You'll collaborate across departments and have a real voice in estimating strategy and workflow development.

What You’ll Do:

• Create detailed cost estimates for complex commercial/institutional builds
• Lead plan reviews, site assessments, and cross-functional budgeting
• Interpret blueprints/specs and collaborate with field teams
• Contribute to process improvement and mentor junior staff
• Handle multiple bids simultaneously with precision

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating
• Proficiency in takeoffs and knowledge of preconstruction processes
• Experience with either Plan swift, Earthworks Pro, Procore, Trimble, Heavy Bid or similar
• Strong blueprint reading and cost-modeling experience
