About The Position We are seeking a licensed Optometrist for a 56-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia, beginning Aug 18, 2025. This opportunity involves day shifts from 8am to 5pm, with flexibility based on the facility's schedule, Monday through Friday. The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care in long-term care facilities, ensuring high standards are met in patient treatment and collaboration with facility staff.

Location: Georgia Start Date: Aug 18, 2025 LOA: 56 days Provider Type Needed: Optometrist Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (may adjust based on facility needs)
Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive eye care to patients in a long-term care setting. Perform all necessary charting within 24 hours of each visit. Ensure a thorough and professional approach to patient care each day. Visit only one facility per day to maintain focused and personalized care. Collaborate effectively with long-term care facility staff to meet patient needs. Travel to different long-term care facilities, one each day, to deliver consistent care. Utilize Practice Fusion for all EMR documentation.
Additional Information Must hold a current Optometrist license in Georgia. Experience in geriatrics and working with older patient populations preferred. Strong organizational skills to handle the logistics of daily travel and varying schedules.
