About The Position
We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This role commences on Aug. 25, 2025, and features a full-time schedule, covering 12-hour shifts during weekdays from 8am to 8pm and weekends from 8am to 4pm. The Nurse Practitioner will be working autonomously in a clinic setting, managing over 40 patients per day, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.

Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care Schedule:
Weekdays 8am to 8pm, Weekends 8am to 4pm Responsibilities and Duties Independently manage and care for a diverse patient population in an urgent care setting. Perform examinations, diagnose conditions, and provide appropriate treatment. Utilize Epic EMR system to document patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes. Collaborate with clinic staff including medical assistants and front desk personnel to ensure a smooth workflow. Adhere to all clinic protocols, policies, and health regulations. Additional Information Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) DOT certification needed and must be acquired by the provider if not already possessed. Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina. Ideal candidates should be comfortable working autonomously and capable of handling high patient volumes.
