Dolan Concrete Construction is hiring: Estimator/Project Manager in Santa Clara

Overview

This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual with concrete takeoff experience who is looking to expand your skill set under the tutelage of an experienced management staff. As an Estimator/Project Manager, you will be involved in projects from the budgeting phase through the construction phase.

Duties

• Quantity Takeoff (using On-Screen Takeoff)
• Completing Estimates
• Preparing Bid Proposals
• Procurement of Submittals
• Overseeing of Shop Drawing preparation
• Writing of subcontracts
• Procuring of materials and equipment required for your projects
• Review of contracts for scope and price compliance
• Review changes to the contract documents throughout the project
• Maintain Procore files throughout the life of your projects
• Coordination with the Operations staff to keep projects running smoothly and on budget
• Client relationship management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree - ideally in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent amount of relevant experience)
• Experience with concrete takeoff (1 year minimum)
• In office work (remote work not permitted)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to complete work within deadlines
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

• OSHA 30 Training (not required)
• LEED Certification (not required)
