About The Position
A Hospital in Mississippi is seeking a skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment starting August 6, 2025, for 40 days. The schedule includes 8-hour clinic days, potential weeknight call, and 24-hour weekend call coverage (Friday 2 PM to Monday 6:45 AM) for 2 days a week. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced MFM specialist comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient care, including various prenatal screenings and procedures.

Physician (Maternal Fetal Medicine) Schedule: - Clinic: 8-hour shifts, 2 days a week - Potential weeknight call - Weekend call: 24-hour coverage (Friday 2 PM to Monday 6:45 AM)
Job Responsibilities and Duties: - Perform a mix of prenatal screenings, targeted ultrasounds, follow-ups, and fetal testing - Conduct amniocentesis and inpatient fetal testing at select locations - Review ultrasounds for anatomy scans, biophysical profiles (BPP), and growth scans - Manage high-risk pregnancies and provide consultations - Handle both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities - Rotate assignments at different clinics throughout the week (flexible rotation) - Utilize Epic EMR for patient management and record-keeping
Additional Information: - Experience in maternal fetal medicine required - Comfort with a variety of prenatal screenings and procedures - Ability to manage both clinic and on-call responsibilities - Strong ultrasound interpretation skills
