Remedi SeniorCare is looking for a passionate and driven IV Pharmacy Technician (sterile compounding) to join our innovative team—where your expertise will directly enhance the lives of residents in long-term care communities. Location: On site at our closed-door pharmacy (14700 Helm Ct, Plymouth, MI 48170)
Salary: $23/hour +
$1000 Sign On Bonus! We are growing and that means more opportunities Key Responsibilities As an IV Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the IV Manager with the day-to-day operational needs of the Infusion department, adhering to the company's quality and customer service standards, policies and procedures, state and federal guidelines. Filling of IV orders to include, but, not limited to, mixing of IV medications, mathematically calculate doses, apply all sterile techniques as applicable to the job. Sending supplies and equipment to facilities Maintaining all IV mixing records. Performing regular cleaning and maintenance check on all equipment Programming of all infusion pumps Data entry of all applicable I.V. orders Responsible for the ordering of supplies from various vendors Perform other tasks as required Perform technician assignments as requested by the pharmacy management. Maintain all IV pharmacy related equipment and supplies in the equipment rental log. Actively contributes to the evaluation and continuous improvement of client services, policies and procedures. Assists with ensuring safety policy and procedures are practiced and adhered. Participates in special projects to identify and implement operational improvements. Ability to work with others in a positive productive manner anticipates and responds to the positions areas of responsibilities. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee with the MI State Board of Pharmacy required (must be in good standing) Skills & Abilities Minimum of six (6) months of hospital or home infusion pharmacy experience with emphasis on compounding/aseptic technique required, and good working knowledge of compounding sterile products according to USP 797 standards. Strong computer skills Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations Clarest is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
