position with a client located in

San Antonio, TX 78259.

Ideally looking for applicants with a strong working knowledge or experience with Contracts Transfer, Underwriting or Mortgage, Drafting Contracts and technology domain comes as a plus. Job Title : Contracts Analyst Location : San Antonio, TX 78259 ( 4 days onsite/1 remote schedule) Duration : 6 months, extension is possible Pay Range: $32/hr on W2 - $39.31/hr on W2 (without benefits) ,the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location and other factors. Minimum Education Required – Bachelor's Degree Note :

Needed someone with strong Contracts Transfer experience. Key Responsibilities: Reviews and analyzes contractual agreements to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards; evaluates for additional legal review and engages relevant stakeholders as needed. Identifies and mitigates potential risks associated with contract terms and conditions. Provides recommendations for contract modifications based on legal and business considerations. Manages the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation and drafting to execution and renewal. Maintains a centralized repository of contracts and ensures accurate and timely documentation. Monitors contractual obligations and deadlines. Develops strategies to minimize contractual risks and maximize opportunities. Communicates contract-related information to internal and external stakeholders; collaborates cross-functionally to ensure alignment on contractual matters. Identifies opportunities for process improvements in contract management and contributes to the development of best practices. Coordinates or supports activities related to contract audits. Monitors monthly reports and documents adherence. Develops strong relationships with key business partners. Top 3-5 Technical Skills Must have contract review and management of contracts responsibilities. Prior experience needed reviewing and managing contracts related to MARKETING / PRODUCTS in an industrial space, Plus Oil & Gas experience, otherwise medium to large company industrial, manufacturing would seem next best. Sales and Marketing contracts where outside customers have complex pricing, terms and conditions, red lines is needed for acumen. Legal knowledge, like paralegal helps, or prior contract administrator projects. Candidate must be: good at details, analytical work, drafting contracts, reviewing red lines, interacting if necessary with internal legal department, while having a business mindset and awareness. Marathon has many products, not just gasoline. Many petroleum related products. Microsoft suite, TEAMS, experience using a contract lifecycle management tool that contains repository of contracts. Bachelor's Degree - Business Admin, better is Legal degree. Accounting degree is compelling too. Project Scope/Details/Responsibilities - This is the group sits in the TRADING floor, working among professional personnel responsible for reselling client products with responsibility for administrating and managing contracts for transactions, red lines, monitoring contracts, maintaining, and reviewing legal terms, pricing, volume orders, referencing industry index for pricing/negotiating. Customer facing and internal stakeholder facing. Interview Process: 45-minute TEAMS or onsite if schedule can work, then decision/offer. Usually a 2nd interview is not needed.
