Laundress/Housekeeper to Busy Family/Executives

JRN 2133 We are seeking a detail-oriented Laundress/Housekeeper to support a busy family based in Greenwich Village, NY. The ideal candidate is experienced in high-level home upkeep, takes pride in their work, and is especially skilled in laundry and garment care. This is a full-time position with daytime hours and a positive, team-oriented environment. Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of experience as a housekeeper in a private household Strong laundry skills, including care of fine fabrics, ironing, folding, and closet organization Deep cleaning and daily upkeep of high-end furnishings and finishes Ability to work well with other staff (this is a fully staffed home) Discretion, professionalism, and a proactive mindset Authorized to work in the U.S. Responsibilities: Daily cleaning and maintenance of the home (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, surface care, etc.) Full-service laundry care: washing, drying, ironing, stain treatment, and seasonal wardrobe rotation Light organizational projects as needed (closets, pantries, storage areas) Working closely and collaboratively with other household team members Occasional assistance with packing/unpacking, errands, or light pet care Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Compensation: $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits Location: Greenwich Village, New York, NY
