Since 2014, Naomie Wert Interiors has been creating high-end, full-scale residential design projects in the East Bay and beyond. We curate homes that combine elegance, functionality, and personality, and we’re looking for a talented Interior Designer with 5+ years of experience to join our team and help bring exceptional living spaces to life.
Position Overview:
As an Interior Designer with our studio, you’ll work closely with the principal on residential projects from concept through completion. This role blends creative vision with technical expertise , requiring someone who can manage multiple projects while maintaining impeccable design standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support design projects for new builds, renovations, and remodels, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
- Develop compelling design concepts, furniture plans, architectural elevations, and presentations
- Source and specify finishes, materials, furniture, fixtures, and décor
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to execute the design vision
- Prepare detailed drawings and construction documents (plans, elevations, schedules)
- Develop custom millwork and furniture designs
- Manage client communications with professionalism and care
- Travel to projects and the SF Design Center as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of professional residential interior design experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing new builds, renovations, and remodels
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with Mac OS and Keynote presentations
- Comfortable using Google Workspace
- Houzz experience is a bonus
- Deep knowledge of materials, finishes, furnishings, and trade vendors
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, client-first mindset
- Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred
