Job Summary
As the Business Analyst, you will be responsible for facilitating business requirements gathering sessions, performing validation of business requirements, and coordinating user acceptance testing for our Health Management System (HMS). You will play a critical role in ensuring that our software solutions align with the strategic goals of our organization and meet the needs of various stakeholders.

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for facilitating business requirements gathering sessions, performing validation of business requirements, and coordinating user acceptance testing for our Health Management System (HMS). This position will be full-time, long-term contract, and on-site.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with facilitation of business requirements gathering sessions with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Perform validation of documented business requirements against business processes
  • Perform verification of developed software against business requirements and technical specifications through User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Identify and document opportunities for improving workflow efficiencies within the software
  • Prepare end-user documentation for training and assistance, including release documentation, process flows, and help screens
  • Review development team performance and report status and recommendations to project management
  • Provide subject matter expertise to Business Analysts and development team
  • Prepare documentation for application change requests and change management
  • Define and document functional specifications and software test plans
  • Coordinate UAT using change and configuration management systems
What You'll Need

Required:
  • 2 years of documented experience performing business analysis on an Agile software development team
  • 1 year of documented experience facilitating Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions
  • 1 year of experience in eliciting, gathering, and documenting user requirements
  • 1 year of experience performing software testing, including executing tests, documenting defects, and writing test cases and plans
  • 1year of experience producing business or technical documentation
  • 1 year of experience in application development, preferably on a Certified Health Information Technology (EHR) system
  • 1 year of experience and/or education related to HL7 standards, including ADT and CCDA
  • 1 year of experience with databases and generating ad-hoc reports using SQL queries
Preferred:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and experience in change and configuration management systems
Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work involving sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor


The pay range for this position is $40.00- $44.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
