We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team as a Junior Civil Engineer in the Track Engineering field.

Description of Work: As a Junior Civil Engineer, the successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting engineering activities within the Track Engineering office. The primary responsibilities include assisting in the design and construction of railway projects, with a focus on trackwork and track switches. The individual will collaborate with a dynamic team, ensuring adherence to industry standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct surveys using topographical instruments. Draft designs using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software. Develop contract specifications and reports. Provide field technical support through visual inspections. Assist in the creation of construction drawings.

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university or college.

Licensing Requirements:

Valid New York State Driver License.

Skills and Competencies:

Proficient in using topographical instruments for surveys. Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
