About the Role We are seeking a
Systems Engineer
with a strong background in
requirements management
and
model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
to support a high-impact aerospace and defense program. This role involves working on advanced gas turbine engine systems for military applications, collaborating with experienced engineers to develop and validate system requirements, architecture, and design.
Key Responsibilities Develop, manage, and validate system-level requirements using industry-standard tools. Maintain structured requirement specifications in compliance with engineering plans and style guides. Support system architecture development and validation/verification activities. Participate in major system reviews such as System Requirements Review (SRR). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of engineering deliverables. Identify risks, escalate issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of systems processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, or related field). Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering or aerospace development. Hands-on experience with requirements management tools such as
DOORS NG ,
CAMEO , or similar. Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle and documentation standards. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Must be a U.S. Citizen or have protected status due to export control regulations. Preferred Skills Experience with
MBSE ,
SysML , and model-based tools. Familiarity with IPDS or similar product development processes. Prior experience in military or defense-related programs. Ability to manage complex projects and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
