As a member of our Neuroinflammation research group, the (Senior) Research Assistant will play a crucial role in the pre-clinical evaluation of innovative therapies using rodent models. The ideal candidate will bring advanced technical expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for translating science into therapies. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in vivo pharmacological studies using rodent models to support drug discovery and development Perform a wide range of compound administration techniques, including ICV, IT, IV dosing Execute tissue collection, dissection, and processing for subsequent histopathological and biochemical analyses Apply proficiency in quantitative assays such as ELISA/MSD, qRT-PCR, and IHC to analyze experimental outcomes Maintain meticulous laboratory records and contribute to high standards of scientific rigor and data integrity Collaborate closely with cross-functional scientific teams, communicating results and contributing to research strategy
Qualifications: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, or a related discipline Minimum of three years’ hands-on experience in rodent handling and colony management Demonstrated expertise in various drug administration techniques Advanced skill in tissue dissection and preparation for diverse analytical assays Proficiency in quantitative biochemical techniques Highly organized with exceptional critical thinking, troubleshooting, and communication abilities
