A leading consulting firm in the Memorial City area of Houston, TX is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity with a great work culture, competitive compensation and benefits, room for growth, and a hybrid work schedule after training. Starting compensation is $70,000 - $75,000 depending on experience. Qualifications: 2+ years experience redlining contracts Paralegal Certification or equivalent legal experience Responsibilities: Review, redline, and assist in the negotiation of a variety of commercial contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, and licensing agreements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., procurement, sales, finance) to ensure contract terms align with company policies and risk tolerance. Maintain and manage the contract lifecycle using contract management systems. Assist with corporate governance tasks, including entity formation, annual filings, and board resolutions. Conduct legal research and prepare summaries or memos as needed. Support due diligence efforts for mergers, acquisitions, or other corporate transactions. Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations. Maintain organized and up-to-date legal files and documentation.
