Neuroscientist
specializing in
white matter dysfunction and hyperintensities (WMH)
, with a focus on practical, innovative approaches to researching interventions for WHM in a personalized medicine paradigm. Integrating WMH knowledge at the molecular, cellular and systems levels to draw potential insights for regressing WMHs will be critical in this role. You must be
intervention-oriented
to succeed in this role.
At ICR, you'll get to:
Develop practical and actionable interventions to regress WMH Research pathophysiology and etiology of WMH including potential contributions of connective tissue disorders, CVSD, hypertension, etc Collaborate with other ICR scientists to leverage company resources and maximize productivity

A PhD with 2+ years of post-graduate experience focused on molecular, cellular or systems-level WMH research Experience with iPSC (induced pluripotent stem cell)-derived and animal models of hypertension, CVSD and other known contributors to WMH development Expertise in neuroscience, systems neuroscience, white matter biology, the cerebrovascular system and MRI are strongly preferred Even if you don't meet all these criteria, please apply anyway

Compensation is commensurate with experience. The compensation ranges listed below are
starting
ranges.
Starting base pay range: $135,000/yr - $185,000/yr Starting bonus range: $7,500/yr - $18,000/yr
