My client has a long-term need for a Structural Engineer. He/she will work independently and in a team environment and be responsible for structural analysis, calculations, structural drawings, and coordination with clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical communication abilities and effective interpersonal skills. This is an on-site, full-time position.
Job Responsibilities Conduct structural design, perform calculations and analysis, prepare drawings and reports. Collaborate effectively with engineers, BIM personnel, and design stakeholders. Coordinate structural design with internal teams and assist Jr. engineers. Attend assigned project meetings. Coordinate and execute BIM tasks. Construction Administration and site visits May stamp and sign projects and manage small to medium-sized projects
Requirements BSCE required,
Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred. Min. of 3 years’ experience
in
building design, retrofits, steel, reinforced concrete, and structural analysis Must have recent work experience in the US PE License in California Experience with equipment anchorage and utilities bracing. Proficiency in codes: ACI 318, AISC 360, ASCE 7, IBC, AISC 341, and NDS Proficiency in structural analysis software as well as BlueBeam, AutoCAD, & Office 365 Experience preparing construction drawings and specifications. Experience in the design and development of structural engineering projects of different sizes. Be able to travel within the US occasionally
