We’re looking for talented entry level HR Coordinator to join us in our Denver office to coordinate and execute key Human Resources functions in a growing and fast-paced professional services company operating across 3 states and 9 offices. The HR Coordinator will work under the guidance and management of the HR Director and will be expected to coordinate the tasks and assigned duties associated with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, payroll, and benefits administration with 100% accuracy. Recruiting – Coordinate and schedule job postings, career fairs and other recruiting strategies and tactics. ·
Interview Process and Hiring – Coordinate and schedule the interview process for prospective employees. Coordinate and assist in the creation of offer letters. ·
Resume Reviews and Initial Phone Screenings – Execute the process for the initial stage of hiring to include resume review, coordinating phone interviews, and executing reference checks and background checks. ·
New Employee Onboarding – Coordinate, schedule and be a key contributor to the new employee onboarding process. Execute, track, and manage all new hire documentation. ·
Employee Terminations and Resignations – Execute the process for offboarding of departing employees and act as the first point of contact with regard to fielding questions and inquiries from past employees. ·
Payroll – Under the direction of the HR Director, execute assigned tasks related to payroll for the timely and 100% accurate execution of semi-monthly payroll. Coordinate and execute the tracking of all payroll related employee information including PTO accruals, and expense reimbursements. ·
Benefits Administration – Become a resource for all employees regarding benefits related questions by becoming an expert in company’s employee benefits. Coordinate the open enrollment process for both the health, dental, and vision plans. Coordinate the 401K enrollment process. ·
Performance Review Coordination – Coordinate the scheduling and tracking of all quarterly employee performance reviews to include post pre review tasks, and post review tasks. ·
Employee Relations– Act as the first point of contact for employees needing assistance with benefits related questions and situations. Adhere to a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism. Appropriately triage questions to the HR Director as needed. ·
Employee Communications – Coordinate and execute both recurring and ad hoc employee communications under the direction of the HR Director. ·
Employee Functions – Collaborate in creating and organizing company functions while working within a budget. ·
HR Metrics Analysis and Reporting – Leveraging the HRIS, track and create the required monthly reports for the key human resource metrics. ·
Vendor relationships – Successfully manage and collaborate with outside vendors and partners, including payroll service providers, health insurance brokers and providers, and HR attorneys. ·
Policies and Employee Manual – Be the key point of contact for employees with questions about company policies and the employee manual. ·
Compliance and Documentation – Ensure all required HR and employee documentation is 100% accurate and filed and stored appropriately. Execute assigned tasks related to all HR audits (401K Audit, Workmen’s Comp Audit, etc). ·
Special Projects – Work directly with the HR Director in the execution of research projects, data analysis projects, and projects targeting an increased level of employee satisfaction and/or HR process continuous improvements.
Full time team members are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplementary Insurance and Dependent Care FSA and Healthcare FSA. A portion of the Medical and Dental premiums are paid for by Norris Design. Norris Design provides an employer paid Basic Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability Insurance as well as a 4% company match to our 401k plan. Paid Family Leave. Team members receives 8 paid company holidays per year and an accrual based PTO program starting at 15 days per calendar year. Holiday week office closure. Plus year-round half day Fridays!
