Role Overview:
We are partnering with a leading HVAC contractor based in Manhattan, NY, recognized for their expertise in HVAC systems and mechanical construction. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions on time, our client is committed to providing industry-leading services for a wide range of mechanical and HVAC projects.
Your main duties will include, but not be limited to: Lead HVAC construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest mechanical and HVAC standards. Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution. Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring all HVAC and mechanical aspects are aligned with the project’s timeline and cost constraints. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and address challenges related to HVAC installations and mechanical systems. Ensure strict adherence to local building codes, safety standards, and regulations, particularly those related to HVAC systems. Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, reports, and budgets. Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for future collaboration.
To be successful in your application, you will possess the following: 5+ years of experience in HVAC project management or mechanical contracting. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical construction, with hands-on experience in managing HVAC-related projects. Proven track record of managing large-scale HVAC or mechanical projects, especially in the New York City area. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
