ROLE DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experienced Jewelry Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both conceptual design and technical development, with proven experience creating commercially viable yet innovative jewelry collections. This role requires a balance of creativity, market awareness, and technical precision.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Concept and Design Direction Research global trends, materials, stones, and techniques to inform design direction and R&D development
Collection Design Design and develop seasonal jewelry collations aligned with brand visions, trend direction, and customer needs across all design divisions
Technical Specs, Sample Comments, and Approvals Create detailed technical drawings and CADs for sampling and production Coordinate with international team for any VR creation or 3D files needed Review and provide comments on samples, making necessary adjustments to achieve design and quality standards
Logistics & Operations Support In-office a minimum of 3 days a week for meetings, sample review, and general working needs Product Lifestyle Management database (PLM) support and management Maintain organized design files, working decks, and reference libraries
Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Retail PD account managers, Director of Merchandising, freelance network, and international design team. Assist in any meeting prep for in-person client meetings with the account leads and office manager Participate in client in-person meetings as needed and deliver clear, comprehensive recaps to team members who were not present
QUALIFICATIONS 4+ years of experience designing jewelry in a corporate, studio, or brand environment Strong digital sketching and rendering skills Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, knowledge of 3D rendering programs as plus (Rhino, Matrix, or similar) Knowledge of jewelry materials, manufacturing processes, and construction Strong understanding of market trends, customer profiles, and price/value positioning Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and production management software/tools.
