Richstone is a family-owned stone fabrication company with a team of 25 hardworking professionals. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a financially minded, operations-savvy team member to help us run more efficiently and sustainably. We currently operate out of a 25,000 sqft state of the art facility in Chantilly, VA and serve commercial and residential clients in VA, DC, MD, DE, PA and WV.
This position blends strategic financial planning and cash flow management, with day to day AP/AR, Payroll, procurement and Bookkeeping oversight.
You’ll work closely with company owners and leadership, an internal bookkeeper, third party tax preparers and clients and suppliers when it comes to AP/AR to keep the business operating smoothly from a financial aspect.
You'll also help connect the dots between sales, operations, and finance—keeping projects moving without creating delays.
Financial Management Job profitability analysis Cash flow management Manage accounts payable and ensure vendors are paid on time Track accounts receivable and resolve overdue balances Process payroll for subcontractors and W-2 staff in accordance with internal pay structures Quarterly tax payments and 1099 filings in coordination with our accounting partners Help with departmental budgeting and monthly goal tracking Month-end reconciliation and year end closing of books and internal reporting cycles
Team & Bookkeeping Coordination Guide weekly/monthly priorities for the internal bookkeeper Offer mentorship on reconciliations, data entry, and timelines Ensure bookkeeping tasks align with company goals and deadlines Act as liaison between the bookkeeper, ownership, and departments
Procurement & Office Operations Order materials including slabs, sinks, and accessories Track inventory and confirm on-time vendor deliveries Purchase office and shop supplies, tools, and consumables Keep purchasing records organized to support job costing and reporting
Required Qualifications Familiarity with job costing, installer pay structures, AR/AP, and payroll Comfortable communicating with both internal team members and clients about financial issues Experience with 1099s, tax payment schedules, and budgeting Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and financial reporting software Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once
Preferred Qualifications Experience working with remote or international bookkeepers Mastery of QuickBooks Online Operational experience in small business finance/accounting, job costing, vendor management, and forecasting Experience in the construction industry Previous role in a 10–100 person company where cross-functional work and wearing multiple hats was essential

Compensation & Details This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Chantilly, VA headquarters. Salary range is
$75,000–$100,000
, depending on experience, with potential for future growth based on performance and company success.
