Position Summary: Crushing Equipment Solutions, a leading provider of equipment and process solutions to the aggregate, industrial minerals and C&D processing industries, is seeking a dynamic and driven individual for the multi-functional role of

Project Manager / Applications Engineer.

This dual-role position will oversee and manage green field and brown field projects, ensuring they are completed accurately, on time and within budget while also serving as a technical application resource assisting the sales department and customers with the evaluation of applications and the selection of equipment or process solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Project Management Responsibilities: Plan, manage, and oversee greenfield and brown field projects, to include but not limited to; new plant builds, plant expansions, equipment installations/upgrades, and structural/electrical/civil components. Coordinate with sales department to define project scope/budget and develop schedules and risk assessments. Coordinate internal teams, contractors, engineers, and vendors to ensure project milestones and objectives are achieved. Conduct site assessments and work in conjunction with onsite team members, contractors and customer representatives to ensure project completion while exceeding safety requirements. Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, and other industry-specific safety regulations. Manage procurement of equipment, materials and services related to the project. Resolve project-related issues, delays, or conflicts in a timely and effective manner. Develop and maintain project documentation including Gantt charts, risk registers, and status reports. Track project performance and provide progress updates to senior management, sales department and customers. Oversee documentation, reporting, and close-out of all projects. Conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned.

Applications Engineering Responsibilities: Act as a technical liaison between sales and customers, evaluating application data, selecting equipment or developing processes. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including product demos, engineering calculations (i.e. mass & water balances), equipment modeling/selection (Aggflow, Bruno, etc.), product or process recommendations. Work with Crushing Equipment Solutions’ manufacturers/suppliers on the development of processes and selection of equipment, machines and components required to meet customer’s application requirements. Assist in the design, integration, and start-up of equipment and systems at customer jobsites. Prepare and deliver technical presentations, process flow diagrams/P&IDs, project and equipment costing sheets, review and interpret technical documentation, installation guides, and training materials. Stays current and knowledgeable on the features and benefits of all products represented by Crushing Equipment Solutions (CES)

Qualifications Ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in project management, Construction Management, Engineering, Mining, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience in the aggregate, mining, heavy construction or filed erection industry. Strong understanding of aggregate production processes, equipment, and operational challenges (preferred but not required). Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale industrial or site development projects. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD). Strong leadership, communication, organizational and technical skills. Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes is a plus. PMP certification or similar credentials (preferred but not required). Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Experience with mass and water balance calculations and understanding of gradational size analysis. Working knowledge of Aggflow process software (preferred but not required). Ability to shift between high-level project strategy and hands-on technical tasks. Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements Combination of office & field-based work environment with frequent travel to plant and quarry sites. Expected Travel – 35% typical, amount may vary based amount required to execute responsibilities effectively. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and heavy equipment environments. Must be able to walk, climb, and stand for extended periods in rugged terrain.
