Senior Estimator

to join their accomplished team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to play a key role in the construction of stunning custom homes located in some of the city’s most prestigious neighborhoods.

Responsibilities: Analyze architectural and civil plans, along with client specifications, to produce accurate, detailed cost estimates Manage the complete estimating process for both new custom homes and high-end renovation projects Collaborate closely with sales, design, and operations teams to ensure alignment on scope, budget, and timelines Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners to clarify project requirements and expectations Solicit, review, and compare subcontractor and vendor bids; validate scope, quantities, and pricing Create comprehensive takeoffs, bid packages, closing statements, and related documentation Work with accounting and project management teams to code and track project invoices Contribute to value engineering efforts, purchasing strategies, and vendor negotiations Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing, industry trends, and historical cost data

Qualifications

: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of residential estimating experience, preferably in high-end or custom home construction Proficient in takeoff and estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Buildertrend, CoConstruct) Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Deep understanding of residential building systems, materials, and finishes Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams and with clients Detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to producing high-quality, accurate work
