RN – Labor & Delivery
Shift: 7a–7p, 45-bed unit, 2 ORs
Patient Types: High-risk OB, antepartum, c-sections, vaginal deliveries
Ratios: 1:1–2 | Drips: Mag, insulin, pitocin
Float: Required across Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & MB/PP
Reqs: 1.5 yrs L&D exp, BLS, ACLS, NRP, prior travel contract (no 1st timers), IA or Compact license
Scrubs: Provided
Holiday Policy 2025: Must work 2 of 3 winter holidays; only 1 day off allowed between 11/26–11/30 & 12/23–1/2
