Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts, three days/week (Thursday and Friday shifts required)

Unit Details:

• Operating Room with orthopedic and neurosurgery procedures

• Charting System: EPIC EMR

Position Summary:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel OR RN to provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced OR setting. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room, assisting with surgical procedures, managing instruments and implants, and ensuring accurate charge capture.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up the OR for scheduled procedures

• Verify and organize supplies, instruments, equipment, and special implants

• Safely open and dispense sterile items

• Assess patient history, positioning, and procedural needs

• Count sponges, sharps, and instruments with scrub person

• Accurate documentation of patient-specific charges in EPIC

• Scrub and circulating duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of current OR experience required

• Scrub and circulating experience required (skills checklist must be included in profile)

• Orthopedic and neurosurgery experience preferred

• EPIC EMR experience preferred

• ACLS and BLS certification required
