Lead Warehouse Associate Job at Greentech Renewables in Palmetto

Overview

Greentech Renewables is currently looking for an experienced lead warehouse associate to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, where every day is different. Will work in warehouse, move merchandise, receive & unload trucks, load trucks, clean work area, wrap & ship by UPS & LTL daily. Hardworking, team-oriented and self-starting are a must.

Reports To

Warehouse Manager

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally 70 pounds with a team lift
• Good mechanical skills
• Willingness to learn and perform industry-specific tasks in our warehouse is key
• Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and twist
• Ability to work on concrete floor for entire shift
• Ability to climb ladders to pull material
• Basic math skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to operate a forklift
• Interact with customers in a professional manner

Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)

• Receive incoming freight
• Keep a clean and organized warehouse
• Stock material on shelves
• Picking orders, including mixing pallets, and counting loose items
• Processing returns from customers and to vendors
• Operate a Microsoft-based computer system
• Interact with customers in a professional manner
• Be detail-oriented, self-motivated, friendly, and work well in teams
• Packaging materials for either will call pickup, delivery on trucks, or shipment LTL
• Pulling rail up to 24' long, and loading onto trucks
• Ability to maneuver long pallets weighing up to 1,400 lbs. of solar materials with a pallet jack

Working Conditions

Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.

Compensation

Compensation range is $18.00 to $20.00 hourly
