Allied Health Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Telemetry Monitoring Technician

for a 13-week night shift assignment in a centralized cardiac monitoring unit. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience monitoring cardiac rhythms, identifying arrhythmias, and promptly reporting changes to healthcare providers. Roles & Responsibilities:

Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms for a high volume of patients (average of 50). Identify and respond to potentially life-threatening arrhythmias and rhythm changes. Document ECG strips and alert responsible providers to any significant findings. Set and maintain alarm parameters according to protocol. Save and chart relevant rhythm alarms and events. Provide clear and concise shift reports to incoming staff, including changes in patient rhythm status. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation and communication. Collaborate with nursing and provider staff to ensure patient safety and continuity of care. Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years

of telemetry monitoring experience in a hospital or centralized monitoring setting. Previous travel experience

required. Strong ability to recognize and interpret a wide range of cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias. Proficient in use of telemetry monitoring systems (SpaceLabs experience preferred; training provided for Philips). Effective communication skills for rapid reporting to providers. Ability to manage multiple patient telemetry inputs simultaneously. High attention to detail and ability to work independently. Certifications:
