The CT Technologist will work within the Radiology department, performing imaging procedures while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining high standards of patient care. This role requires a robust knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. The technologist will utilize expertise in CT imaging to deliver accurate diagnostic results. Responsibilities
Perform CT scans in accordance with established standards and protocols. Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning of imaging devices. Prepare patients for imaging procedures, managing their comfort and safety. Document procedures and patient data accurately. Collaborate effectively with medical staff and communicate results to relevant parties. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years experience as a CT Technologist. BLS certification required. One year of experience in radiologic/imaging is required. Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Active New York license required at the time of submission.
