JOB SUMMARY The Financial Planning & Analysis ("FP&A") Accounts Payable Analyst is primarily responsible for managing the bank's accounts payable process, corporate treasury management process, supporting the general ledger interface to core, as well as a diverse array of other functions to support the day-to-day operations of the department. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support the bank's adherence to key controls owned by the FP&A team Perform daily processing of invoices, record the transactions to the general ledger and process payments in a timely and accurate manner Prepare daily and monthly reconciliations Calculate accruals and prepare daily general ledger entries Lead month end closing process of accounts payable Maintain accurate vendor records, update vendor information in accordance with the bank's key controls Monitor the request queue for the department, follow up with stakeholders to ensure a timely and accurate turnaround Monitor daily interface reports Primarily responsible for the corporate treasury management process and the Contingency Funding Plan Perform additional analytics, reporting, or other duties as assigned, commensurate with experience, professional growth, and ability level/performance Attend and document key meetings, ensure accurate and comprehensive minutes are recorded Assist in preparing meeting materials QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree required, and in accounting or finance strongly preferred 2 years of banking experience in a similar or otherwise relevant corporate finance role is preferred Experience with correspondent bank reconciliations preferred Financial Planning & Analysis-level experience preferred Prior experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word, and adaptable to various systems/software currently utilized at the Bank Highly organized; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously Ability to communicate a completed analysis effectively through verbal and written communication Ability to be highly accurate while working under tight deadlines ABOUT US For over a century, Peoples Bank has served as a cornerstone of customer commitment, helping our communities thrive and continuously supporting our community members.
