Part-Time / PRN Cook
to join our caring team. This position requires flexibility to cover both
Day and Evening shifts
as well as PTO coverage. Shift Hours: Day Shift:
5:30 AM – 2:00 PM Evening Shift:
10:30 AM – 7:00 PM Position Requirements: Previous
dietary experience in a long-term care facility
is required. ServSafe certification
preferred. Must be
18 years or older . Flexible with scheduling needs. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve
breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner
according to established menus and recipes. Demonstrate knowledge of
modified diets
and meet individual resident dietary needs. Maintain the highest standards of
food quality, nutrition, temperature control, and presentation . Adhere to
OSHA, safety, and environmental standards
at all times. Ensure the kitchen and dining areas remain clean, safe, and sanitary. Ideal Candidate: Loves working with the elderly and has a
pleasant, cheerful, tactful, and courteous
demeanor. A team player who values providing nutritious, appealing meals to residents.
