We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to spearhead the development of scalable analytics and reporting capabilities across the organization. This role is responsible for shaping the strategy and implementation of modern data practices, ensuring that critical insights are delivered to business leaders in a timely, meaningful way. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership skills to guide a small analytics team and collaborate with key stakeholders across the company.


What You’ll Do

  • Direct and oversee a team of analysts in creating next-generation analytics solutions, managing design frameworks, quality reviews, deployment activities, and project timelines.
  • Mentor and coach team members, championing best practices in data architecture, reporting, and advanced analytics.
  • Partner with project leads and business units to set priorities, identify key measurements, and translate strategic objectives into actionable data requirements.
  • Engineer data tools and pipelines that highlight customer trends, revenue growth drivers, operational efficiencies, and other critical business outcomes.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports that merge multiple data sources into clear and compelling visual stories.
  • Transform complex business questions into predictive models and user-friendly visualizations that support fast decision-making.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses to surface anomalies, trends, and opportunities using statistical and data-mining techniques.
  • Audit and refine existing data ecosystems for accuracy, scalability, and performance, recommending process improvements and cleansing strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and governance partners to maintain data quality, reliability, and compliance standards.


Required Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in data management and 5+ years in business intelligence or data analysis delivering actionable insights.
  • At least 3 years of experience with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases such as Postgres or Cassandra.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, R, or JavaScript/D3 for data modeling and visualization.
  • Strong working knowledge of business intelligence platforms (e.g., MicroStrategy) and analytics notebooks.
  • Solid grounding in statistical methods and experience with analytical packages (Excel, R, SPSS, SAS).
  • Hands-on exposure to AWS services such as EC2, EMR, RDS, and Redshift.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in data analytics, BI tools, or advanced cloud technologies.
  • Experience in industries with high-volume data environments such as consumer goods, distribution, or e-commerce.
