Construction Estimator

We are seeking a Construction Estimator to join our growing Estimating team. The Estimator will support the estimating process for water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and civil construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual eager to develop their skills and gain valuable experience in the estimation field. The Junior Estimator will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates, evaluating project bids, and collaborating with senior estimators to ensure our projects are competitively priced and financially viable.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Experience: 1-7 years of experience in construction estimation or a related role, preferably in the water/wastewater treatment, pump stations, or civil construction sectors. Skills: Basic knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods, particularly within water/wastewater treatment and civil construction projects. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., ProEst, HCSS, or similar tools) is a plus. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy. Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications: Associate Estimator certification (AACE, AIA, or similar) is a plus but not required. Knowledge: Basic understanding of local construction codes and regulations, particularly in the water/wastewater industry. Technical Proficiency: Exposure to project management or estimating software tools is highly desirable.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $125000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
