FlexXray is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in Las Vegas.
****Day Shift hours 6:30am - 4:30pm or later****
The Warehouse Administrator
ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse by coordinating daily activities, including receiving, storage, and shipping and receiving, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Key Responsibilities
General Warehouse Duties
Maintain cleanliness / appearance of warehouse, dock area (inside and outside), maintain yard area (trailer storage). Check for needed repairs to warehouse, docks, roll-up doors etc. Maintain fuel supply. Monitor warehouse supplies (pallets, shrink wrap etc.) Maintain inspection reports for forklifts, yard mule. Perform Yard / Temperature checks (2 times per shift). Periodically check the yard for trailer alarms, problems etc. Make sure that any trailer containing the product is either under lock, seal or at the dock as work in process. Coordinate with Plant Mgr., Shift Supervisor and Operations Admin on inspection schedule, changes etc. Coordinate forklift drivers to efficiently load, unload or flip trucks as needed. Ensure the inspection room is ready to begin on time. Ensure the inspection room is provided with uninspected products in a timely fashion. Keep uninspected loads ready ahead of the inspection room. Ensure the inspected / completed pallets are removed from the inspection room promptly. Make sure all running trailers have enough fuel to run until the next shift / day. Clear the inspection room of pallets, pallet levelers, etc., at the end of the shift. Secure the warehouse, yard, trailers at the end of the shift. Create and receive projects in IMS. Verify pallet numbers, SKU, and lot information. Reporting to the supervisor any issues with the shipping or receiving process. Adhere to GMP guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Receiving: Dropped Trailers
Check the fuel level. Check the overall condition of trailer, inside & outside. Verify pertinent information from BOL with physical trailer (Trailer, Proper temp setpoint & actual temp, Seal). Documenting any discrepancies or damage that may have been caused during loading or in transit. Create project number in IMS. Show load as arrived in PME. Log load into Mega Spreadsheet. Deliver inbound bills to Operations Admin, Shift Supervisor or Plant Mgr. Receiving: Live unloads or in/outs
In addition to all the steps for a dropped trailer: Communicate with drivers on timetables. Inventory
Use PME and Mega spread sheet to keep an accurate accounting of inbound and outbound loads. Continuously monitor cold loads for temperature, fuel, alarms etc. Locate uninspected & inspected dry loads respectively. Clearly label uninspected dry loads. Shipping
Allocate the load in IMS. Load all outbound products in a manner that is both stable and within the weight limits of the vehicle. Bill and seal dropped trailers as necessary. Monitor sealed loads for proper temp and fuel until they leave the yard. Complete paperwork, update PME, update mega spreadsheet. Document (photo) all outbound loads and upload photos to Microsoft Teams.
