Overview Ohalo is seeking a strategic and hands-on Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team. As Ohalo's second Finance hire, you will play a central role in shaping Ohalo's forecasting, budgeting, and decision support capabilities as we scale into manufacturing and commercial operations. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that blends analytical rigor with business partnership. You\'ll work closely with teams across R&D, production, and commercial operations to drive insight and accountability while helping to design systems and models that support Ohalo's growth.

ASAP Responsibilities
FP&A and Budgeting: Develop and manage budgeting, expense tracking, and variance analyses. Ensure that spending remains aligned with approved budgets and identify optimization strategies for leadership. Business Partnering: Serve as a trusted finance partner to cross-functional teams, helping guide resource allocation and performance tracking. Strategic Analysis: Support ROI analyses, KPI reporting, and operational benchmarking to support capital planning, make-vs-buy decisions, and scaling opportunities. System & Process Development: Partner with procurement and accounting to design scalable financial workflows. Manufacturing Readiness: Collaborate with the production team to prepare for seed manufacturing — supporting early cost modeling, CapEx planning, and cost tracking structures. Candidate Profile / Qualifications
4–5 years of experience in FP&A or strategic finance, ideally in agtech, biotech, hardtech, or a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related analytical field. Strong modeling and Excel / Sheets skills; familiarity with PowerQuery and ERP tools. Exposure to cost accounting, COGS modeling, and manufacturing finance concepts. Experience collaborating with accounting on monthly / quarterly close and financial reporting cycles. Strong communication skills and a proactive, analytical mindset. Comfortable in fast-paced, unstructured environments and eager to build systems from scratch. Bonus Experience
ERP migration support. CapEx modeling and production planning. Process improvement and system implementation initiatives. Compensation The anticipated pay range for this role is $105,000 - $135,000 per year for our San Francisco location. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
