Role The Director, Business Operations and Process Excellence is a strategic role that manages operational and administrative aspects of GRA MPD, Labeling and Advertising & Promotion (A&P) while advising the Head of GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P. This role blends operational, strategic, and administrative responsibilities to ensure the team runs efficiently and aligns with business objectives. The role also includes oversight of vendor management within the sub-function as well as project management oversight. Responsibilities

Partner with the Head of GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P to develop and implement the sub-function\'s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with GRA goals. Support the Head of GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P in the execution of the vision and organization-wide alignment. Manage day-to-day operations of the GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P sub-function, including budgeting, technology, and process improvement initiatives. Drive alignment and collaboration within GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P and across other functions. Orchestrate leadership touchpoints, including department meetings. Manage the sub-function’s budget, track expenses, and analyze financial reports, including outsourcing vendors, to ensure efficient resource allocation. Serve as the central liaison for the Head of GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P, facilitating communication with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. Support key initiatives for GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P. Build relationships with internal stakeholders across departments to understand their needs and ensure the team provides effective support. Assist in managing communications for the sub-function, including internal and external communications requiring final review and approval. Assist in managing outsourcing vendors in partnership with key stakeholders to meet current and future business goals. Foster strong internal communications by socializing key initiatives and communicating progress. Demonstrate Takeda’s Leadership Behavior. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline. Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (PharmD/PhD/MD) strongly preferred. 8+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including 3+ years regulatory and/or related experience. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with the capability to identify problems and develop creative solutions, including risk mitigation strategies. Strong financial acumen: ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and analyze financial reports. Experience with management of regulatory vendors. Experience with project management of regulatory initiatives and adherence to timelines. Working knowledge of regulatory requirements. Must work well with others and within global and regional teams. Location: Boston, MA U.S. Base Salary Range: $174,500.00 - $274,230.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on various factors including qualifications, experience, skills, education, and location. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may be eligible for incentives and benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan with company match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and well-being benefits.
