Overview Director of US Commercial Congresses, within the Strategic Meetings & Engagements team of the Commercial Operations department, will lead the team, set strategy, govern processes, and implement the US Congresses and M&E portfolio synergies/alignment. Establish OpEx efficiencies standards and an operations roadmap to drive strategic business outcomes. Partner with cross-functional teams including global and US stakeholders to define measurable objectives and ensure compliant execution across all functions.

Provide strategic direction for US Commercial Congresses and Operational Excellence, focusing on capabilities, compliance, operational efficiency, innovation, data-driven insights, and cross-functional relationships. Evaluate existing processes, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend improvements to standard operating procedures. Lead cross-functional collaboration, drive timely decisions, manage change, and set a strategic vision for the US Commercial organization. Oversee the US Commercial Congress team with end-to-end logistical and process management, departmental process optimization, and innovation for the US Commercial Organization. Design and maintain critical business metrics for US Congress management to enable data-driven decisions. Set goals and foster a culture of quality, continuous improvement, employee development, and high performance. Establish and socialize the US Congress roadmap, forecasting based on stakeholder priorities and customer engagement needs. Define congress strategy and implementation roadmap focusing on customer experience data, performance indicators, stakeholder feedback, and industry standards to drive improvements. Lead and oversee implementation of technology related to Congresses. Partner with Legal, Finance, Global Procurement, IT, and other cross-functional teams to ensure governance and adherence to guidance standards. Develop and implement cross-training and knowledge sharing programs; provide coaching for development of management and technical skills. Develop solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation. Lead departmental budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, project prioritization, and scenario planning. Define and lead supplier and agency management strategies, including process optimization, communication, customer touchpoints, and performance indicators. Collaborate with Global Commercial, Medical Affairs, Business Conduct, Finance, Regulatory, and others to ensure compliance governance and SOP/SLAs for customer engagements, congresses, and events. Provide regular communication with Commercial Leadership regarding major congress strategy to align with business objectives. Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements to maximize operational efficiency. Foster relationships with industry organizations to promote innovation and maintain standards. Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree and 10+ years OR PhD and 8+ years. Preferred Qualifications

12+ years with BS/BA; 10+ years with MS/MA or MBA; relevant pharmaceutical industry experience. Proven leadership in the pharmaceutical industry with operations experience and compliant customer engagement models. Experience leading and developing high-performing teams; strong understanding of pharmaceutical compliance for Congresses and Operations. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; ability to resolve conflicts and drive consensus. Strategic understanding of market trends and M&E industry standards. Ability to work with urgency and prioritize across multiple tasks. Strong analytical skills; experience defining data endpoints and using insights for decision-making. HMCC, CTSM, CMP, and/or CMM certifications preferred. Ability to travel approximately 15% domestically. People Leader Accountabilities

This position may include discretionary bonuses, stock-based incentives, paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
