We have a unique opportunity for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or an MD/DO/PharmD/PhD with clinical and pharmaceutical experience who is eager to learn and make an impact in a small, highly visible Medical Affairs department. The position will cover the U.S. North Central region, including but not limited to: IL, OH, MI, IN, KY, MN, and qualified candidates must reside within this territory. Responsibilities

Engage in scientific exchanges in the field with prioritized stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Centers of Excellence (COEs), HCPs, patient advocacy groups, and societies to support Medical Affairs strategies. Establish and maintain strong scientific relationships with stakeholders; develop understanding of regional healthcare systems and clinical practices. Provide key scientific education and training on topics related to Medical Affairs strategies, such as product information, disease states, burden of illness, diagnostic scales, etc. Support interactions with investigators and potential investigators in conjunction with ongoing and planned clinical trials; assist in evaluating Investigator Initiated Research proposals as appropriate. Participate in developing a customer-centric medical engagement plan to support Medical Affairs strategies; contribute to regional medical engagement plans and assess stakeholders to identify appropriate healthcare professionals for interaction. Collaborate with field-based Medical colleagues, appropriate Commercial colleagues, and across the organization to provide scientific expertise and share Medical insights in support of internal and external activities. Qualifications

Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, etc.) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience (REQUIRED). Minimum 1 year MSL experience with primary emphasis on field-based scientific exchange (PLUS). Strong, broad-based scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge with excellent presentation and teaching skills (REQUIRED). Excellent ability to discuss drug information and disease state treatment confidently (REQUIRED). Knowledge of pharmaceutical environment and appreciation for Commercial Operations, including Marketing and Sales strategies (REQUIRED). Ability to influence without direct authority (REQUIRED). Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record (REQUIRED). Work Arrangements This is a field-based position requiring travel by car and air up to 70% (typically 3–4 field days per week and occasional weekends). Compensation and Benefits Anticipated salary range: $165,000 to $180,000 per year. Base salary offered is contingent on education and experience relative to requirements and industry standards. Additional benefits include incentives such as bonus eligibility, medical, dental, vision, prescription drug insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance, paid company holidays, PTO, Paid Volunteer Time, and Employee Resource Groups.
