Transportation Engineer – Project Manager , you will lead transportation projects tailored to your experience and location. Depending on where you are based, your focus may include municipal roadway projects, large DOT highway jobs (MoDOT or IDOT), or QA/QC leadership. This is a flexible opportunity designed around the right candidate’s skills and growth potential. Responsibilities Manage transportation projects from design through delivery (municipal, MoDOT, or IDOT) Perform quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) plan reviews (senior candidates) Mentor and support junior engineering staff Collaborate with clients, including some account maintenance on established projects Deliver projects using Civil 3D and/or Microstation in line with DOT standards Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field 4+ years of experience in transportation engineering (PE license preferred; required for 5–7+ year and senior candidates) Strong knowledge of either MoDOT or IDOT standards, depending on location Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation QA/QC experience a strong plus for senior candidates Excellent communication and organizational skills What We Offer Competitive salary ($90K–$110K) Relocation assistance for the right candidate Hybrid schedule (up to 3 days/week remote; senior candidates may be considered for more flexibility) 100% employee ownership through ESOP (share price jumped $20 last year) 401(k) with 3% Safe Harbor contribution, in addition to ESOP Company pays 75% of health premiums for all coverage levels Negotiable PTO, with credit for up to 10 years of prior experience Long-term career growth in a high-energy, forward-thinking culture Who Thrives Here This role is ideal for a
