Job Summary:

Disney Entertainment Television (DET) is looking for a Senior Executive Assistant to support the Executive Vice President, Head of DET Strategy & Operations. This position reports to the EVP and will also provide administrative assistance to the other senior executives on the team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage complex cross-functional coordination, while being a consummate team player who can build strong relationships at all levels across the organization. This position represents an extension of the EVP and must represent the DET Strategy and Operations team in the utmost professional and positive manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary administrative support to EVP as well as provide support to other senior executives on the team

Administrative duties to include, but not limited to scheduling meetings and maintaining extensive calendars, processing expense reports and coordinating business travel

Provide general office management support to the entire team, including ordering supplies and working with facilities management as needed

On-board new employees, including physical and IT access, acquisition of appropriate equipment, providing general team and systems orientation

Coordinate and support on-site and off-site events and meetings as needed

Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external partners on behalf of the EVP

Interface (both written and verbal) with numerous other Disney departments, including with very senior executives

Partner with Strategy & Operations team members to ensure alignment and progress on projects

Conduct research and compile information to support decision-making and presentations

Build and maintain relationships across the organization to facilitate effective collaboration

Basic Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in an administrative capacity within a high-matrixed organization; prior support to a senior executive highly desirable

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), SAP, Concur and AI tools

Ability to master internal meeting systems (i.e. video conference, expenses systems, travel booking etc.) and the appropriate resources to address questions, set-up issues, etc.

Team player and culture carrier with a great attitude who promotes a professional and positive work environment

Strong interpersonal skills - ability to build strong relationships across the company with all levels of colleagues, including with the offices of very senior executives

Attention to detail, with proven organizational and prioritization skills

Highly effective communication skills (written and verbal)

Curiosity and enthusiasm for assuming new challenges and increased responsibility

Understanding of large and complex organizations and agility at navigating and enrolling others

Integrity - trusted to manage highly sensitive information with utmost discretion

Business Acumen - understands organizational priorities and strategic context when planning and setting meetings

Proactive Problem-Solving - takes initiative and anticipates needs; resourceful and ability to exercise appropriate judgement to execute tasks and resolve issues without supervision

Experience at The Walt Disney Company or equivalent industry

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $64,300 to $86,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
