Description: THIS ONSITE POSITION IS FOR RUSH COPLEY MEDICAL CENTER LOCATED AT 2000 ODGEN AVE AURORA, IL 60504
RUSH Copley Supply Chain is in need of help with creating and organizing various data sets in our Supply Chain ERP system, McKesson Supply Chain Management (MSCM). The responsibilities include data entry, data organization, spreadsheet management and other tasks related to MSCM. The requirements are good technical skills, good time management and an understanding of Microsoft Office.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Continuously monitors inventory for appropriate minimum/maximum re-order values with consideration for fluctuating market demands, clinical usage trends and seasonal impact to ensure inventory availability. 2. Manages back-orders and out of stocks in accordance with the departmental policy and procedures. 3. Continuously analyze inventory usage (turns) to increase inventory turnover and reduce/eliminate stock with usage not meeting shelf value criteria. 4. Review daily re-orders of automated re-supply process to ensure all transactions with identified vendors occurred. Corrective actions are taken as required including expediting shipment of product. 5. Work with the Inventory Manager to address recall notices in a timely manner and ensure proper communication occurs according to the appropriate policy and procedure. 6. Expedites invoicing for payment by Accounts Payable in ongoing and timely manner. 7. Assists manager with year-end inventory process and warehouse preparation. 8. Provides coverage to Inventory Manager and Coordinator as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1. One year work experience in a related healthcare or service industry field. 2. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively and exhibit good oral and written skills. 3. Ability to plan daily personal time management and long-term strategies through fiscal budget year activities. 4. Ability to analyze, compose and articulate business opportunities and recommend best proactive outcomes for Warehouse Inventory. 5. Prior experience with data inquiry, data entry and P.C. operations. Requires sound math and inquisitive skills resolving system[s] and inventory related issues. 6. High school degree or equivalent
