The Division of General Pediatric Surgery at Cohen Children's Medical Center provides comprehensive surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents across the full spectrum of pediatric general and thoracic surgical conditions. We are renowned for our expertise and extensive training in: Minimally Invasive Surgery:

Utilizing advanced techniques to optimize outcomes and recovery. Surgical Oncology : Collaborating closely with our robust oncology program to provide integrated care. Pediatric & Adolescent Colorectal Center:

Delivering specialized surgical interventions for complex IBD cases and congenital malformations. Neonatal & Fetal Surgery:

Offering expert care for critically ill newborns requiring surgical intervention. Trauma & Acute Care Surgery:

Supporting Extracorporeal Life Support (ECMO) for comprehensive surgical care. Our team consists of 12 highly skilled and dedicated general/trauma pediatric surgeons, strategically located across different markets we serve from Westchester to Suffolk County. Candidate Qualifications The successful candidate will ideally possess the following qualifications and experience: Education and Experience Board Eligible/Certified in Pediatric Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. Eligibility for an unrestricted New York State Medical License. Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and quality improvement.
