JOB DESCRIPTION:

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience on a post-surgical unit, specifically in general surgery, orthopedic, or neuro-spine.
Experience with chest tubes, VAC, epidural, PCA, IV pumps, and other common surgical care equipment.
Certification in Medical/Surgical Nursing, Orthopedic Nursing preferred.
Valid Wisconsin RN license.
BLS certification required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with assistive devices and working in a no/minimal lift environment.
Familiarity with EPIC electronic charting and hospital medication systems.
Knowledge of orthopedic braces such as TLSO or Jewitt, and familiarity with trauma and joint care protocols.

$2400 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend. IDEAL JOB ID: 238725
