Consolidated Medical Travel is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Redding, California.

Required Certifications

• Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, COVID vaccine
• Preferred: PALS

Unit Requirements

• Experience:
  • MUST have:
    • ICP monitoring and ventriculostomy experience
    • OR experience with post-TPA stroke patients
  • Minimum: 2–3 years ICU experience
  • Prior travel experience strongly preferred (especially in fast-paced settings)
• Ratios: 1:1–2 (90% of time is 1:2)
• Common Cases: Trauma, strokes, head injuries, neuro, interventional radiology
• EMR: Cerner
• Tele: GE
• Vents: Hamilton
• Hospitalist: 24/7 in-house
• RT & Pharmacy: 24/7
• IV Team: No
• Charge RN: Yes (no patient load)
• Support Staff: No nurse aides
• Floating: To telemetry and med-surg units
• Scrub Color: Navy
• Orientation: 1 day on unit

• Onsite proctored dysrhythmia test on day 1 (pass/fail)
• Fast-paced unit — candidates must be adaptable, team-oriented, and willing to ask for help
• Very traveler-friendly environment with strong interventional radiology program
• Holiday RTO considered but not guaranteed
• Schedule posted 6 weeks in advance
