Patient Volume & Responsibilities

15–17 patients per provider

6 (Day), 10 (Swing), 9 (Night)
Night Coverage:
Full hospitalist cross-coverage
Procedures Required:
None
Code Response:
ED, Residents, and Hospitalists
Rapid Response Participation:
Recommended if patient is on your team
Day Duties:
Admissions, rounding, discharges
Swing Duties:
Admissions and rounding on personal admits
Night Duties:
Admissions and cross-coverage for all patients
Support & Specialty Services
Full range of consultative services available including Pulmonology, Cardiology, Intensivists, Hematology/Oncology, and more
16-bed ICU | Open ICU
Strong APP and specialty collaboration
Candidate Requirements
Board Certification:
Internal Medicine or Family Medicine – Board Certified
Certifications:
BLS & ACLS (through AHA – required)
Licensure:
Active WA State Medical License or ability to obtain
Experience Level:
New grads accepted depending on position
