We are seeking a General Manager, Field Services, to lead our certified team of supervisors and technicians. This is an ideal role for a results-driven leader with a strong background in commercial services, mechanical trades, or technical operations management.

Position Overview The General Manager will oversee daily operations, manage a team of 4 supervisors and 11 technicians, and ensure the on-time, high-quality delivery of projects for commercial clients. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, vendor management, and business growth, while also supporting strategic initiatives to expand our services and markets.

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $90,000 $110,000 per year Total Compensation: Up to $125,000 annually (with performance bonuses and incentives) Bonus Plan: Annual performance bonus (up to 20% of base), quarterly incentives, and project/expansion bonuses. Operational Leadership Manage day-to-day operations of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and access control projects. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, market growth, and service expansion. Team Leadership Hire, train, and mentor supervisors and technicians. Set clear performance goals and foster a culture of excellence, safety, and teamwork. Support professional development and technical training across all service areas. Client and Vendor Relations Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients. Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and support long-term client partnerships. Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement and timely delivery of materials. Business Development Identify opportunities for new services, geographic expansion, and technology improvements. Partner with executive leadership to increase revenue growth, customer retention, and project delivery success. Qualifications Required Experience Proven management and leadership experience in a field services, mechanical, or facilities-related industry. Strong background in managing technical trades (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical). Demonstrated success with operational efficiency, project delivery, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management. Experience with the implementation and management of field service software. Education and Certifications Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, project management) are a plus.
