Position Summary: The Financial Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the finance team by analyzing financial data, preparing insightful reports, and assisting with core financial functions such as forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to strengthen their financial expertise while contributing to data-driven decision-making. Working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, the Financial Analyst will help identify trends and variances, offering valuable insights that support strategic business goals and operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with financial integration duties related to mergers and acquisitions. Support the month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring timely and accurate completion of account reconciliations and journal entries. Coordinate with internal departments, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), to gather inputs and prepare accurate weekly cash flow projections. Monitor and evaluate key financial performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations to support strategic business objectives. Provide support on ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from leadership to assist in decision-making and planning. Assist in the preparation and ongoing management of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, leveraging historical data and current trends. Prepare and assist in the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with reporting standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, validate, and analyze financial data for budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring. Review and analyze trial balance details to detect potential posting errors and work with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity across all financial documents and reporting tools. Analyze monthly financial results against budgeted figures, identify key variances, and provide explanations to support internal reporting. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of financial processes and systems to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Education and/or Experience A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, or a similar role, with a proven track record in cash flow forecasting and business analysis. Experience with financial modeling, acquisitions, and due diligence processes is preferred. Mathematical Skills The position requires proficiency in performing complex calculations, including financial analysis and budgeting. The candidate must have a strong understanding of financial terms and principles to effectively analyze and interpret data. Computer Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools is essential, particularly advanced Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for reporting. Experience with data management systems and reporting tools, including database management and market research software, is important. Familiarity with financial software systems, such as ERP platforms, is a plus. Familiarity with reporting and data analysis tools (Tableau, Power BI and SQL are a plus).
