We are looking for
skilled and motivated Field Technicians
to join our growing team. Applicants must have hands-on CMT or soil testing experience. Retail, warehouse, or unrelated work experience will not be considered. Job Summary
As a Field Technician, you will perform
on-site testing for construction materials and soils
, collect samples, conduct standard tests, and document results according to ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, and DOT standards. Technicians may work on
multiple job sites daily
and must be physically able to lift, bend, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Key Responsibilities
Conduct field testing for
concrete, asphalt, soils, and aggregates
(slump, air content, density, compaction, etc.) Collect and properly label samples for lab testing Accurately document test results and maintain chain-of-custody Ensure compliance with
ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, and DOT standards Safely operate testing equipment and follow OSHA safety protocols Travel to multiple project sites as required Maintain communication with supervisors and lab personnel Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience in
construction materials testing (concrete, asphalt, soils, aggregates) Ability to
perform physical tasks
(lifting, bending, climbing, working outdoors) Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions Ability to work on
multiple job sites
daily Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I or higher ACI Aggregate Testing Technician NICET Construction Materials Testing (Level I or II) DOT-specific certifications (if applicable) Prior experience in
geotechnical/soil testing Ability to operate lab/testing equipment Good communication skills and teamwork orientation Benefits
