Wandering Minds is locally owned and operated in Cheyenne, WY. Wandering Minds was founded with a clear mission:
to help individuals and families navigate mental health challenges with compassionate, evidence-based care—empowering every person to rediscover hope and become their best self.
We're building a collaborative, trauma-informed group practice where both clients and clinicians feel supported and valued. Our vision is to grow into a trusted local resource for adults, children, and families while creating a workplace culture rooted in connection, growth, and sustainability. Who We Serve Adults seeking support for trauma, depression, suicidal thoughts, and other challenges Expanding into services for couples, children, teens, and families Position Overview We are seeking a Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.) or Provisionally Licensed Clinician who is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care. This role is ideal for someone who values collaboration but can also work independently and manage their own caseload with professionalism and initiative. Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and/or couples therapy (depending on specialty) Manage caseload independently while contributing to a supportive team environment Maintain accurate and timely documentation including clinical assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes Participate in supervision/consultation (provided for provisionally licensed clinicians) Collaborate with team members and referral sources to ensure quality client care Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field Active Wyoming state license OR provisional license (supervision provided) Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and maintain professional boundaries Experience or strong interest in trauma-informed care, depression, or family work Organized, compassionate, and committed to evidence-based practice Comfortable with (or willing to learn) telehealth and EHR systems What We Offer Competitive pay Flexible scheduling – design your ideal caseload Administrative and billing support so you can focus on clients Opportunities for growth as the practice expands Supportive, collaborative culture—your voice matters here Clinical supervision for provisionally licensed therapists If you're looking for a supportive, growing practice where you can work independently while still feeling connected to a team, we'd love to hear from you!
